The additional steps are – after the pre-application is completed, the visitor will receive calls from sales agents within a few hours or even many weeks depending upon the number of customers handled by the sales agents. After the visitor clarifies whatever doubts he had in mind, he will finally make a decision – to apply or not apply for the merchant account. Once the account provider makes a decision, he needs to submit a merchant account application. The time taken for approval will vary from a few hours to even a few days. Sometimes visitors use the time taken for processing the applications for finding better account providers. If the account provider approves the application, he will send the equipment and associated software to the applicant. Merchant account affiliates get high payouts.
