Tier by Tier difference between Affiliate programs

The affiliate marketing business will continue to expand every day, there are different and various networks which would help in determining how an affiliate is involved in particular affiliate program. There are several contributing aspects that affect an affiliate program and one need to choose a group or tier, classified on payment methods which better suits and appeals to him. The seasoned expert or novice affiliate will help a business organization to change its dimension by achieving business sales in competitive market by sustaining niche.

Generally there are three types of tier programs like Single tier, two tier and multi tier affiliate programs available for an affiliate to choose from.

The first and definitely most simple tier program called “single tier affiliate program” is very clear easy to understand from the view point of affiliates. Here the affiliate would be paid on agreed commission or percentage, after a sale is completed under pay per sale mode. Else when a customer is directed towards merchant’s website by clicking on affiliated link in representative site under pay per lead mode. The percentage or commission would vary from programs to programs. But most of the affiliates opt for those programs which offer higher commission on sale, as more percentage would earn better profits for them.

Another or second type of program is known as “two tier affiliate program”. Within this type other than affiliate commission earned through pay per sale or pay per lead mode, an affiliate would also be paid for any completed business sale from his recruited affiliates. If the recruited affiliates of an affiliate complete a sale they are paid according to agreed conditions, and in addition their recruiter would also earn some percentage. This particular program is most preferred by numerous affiliates as it very lucrative. With an individual’s excellent persuasion skill and reputation, he can be assured of earning a huge commission by the end of month as result of hiring super affiliates.

The final and third type of affiliate program is referred to as “Multi tier affiliate programs”. This type of tier program is very much similar to that of two tier type. Here an affiliate would earn commission for each and every time his direct customers opt for sale. When his affiliates result in sale he would earn some commission and it doesn’t end up here. Suppose if recruited affiliates sign up other affiliates into program then the top level affiliate’s earning potential would increase automatically. In general an affiliate can earn profit when his affiliates put in best efforts those who are under him in multi-tier program chain.
